Common questions

A little clarity, right when you need it.

When will Cyster be available?

Cyster is currently preparing for publication on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Official download links will appear here once the listings are live.

Where is my information stored?

Your profile, wellbeing logs, journal, medication schedule, and chat history are primarily stored on your device. AI chat, meal analysis, analytics, and feedback use external services as described in our Privacy Policy.

Do I have to connect Apple Health or Health Connect?

No. Connected health access is optional. You can deny or revoke permissions in device settings and continue using Cyster’s manual tracking and educational features.

Can Cyster diagnose PCOS or recommend treatment?

No. Cyster provides education, organization, and wellbeing support. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace care from a qualified clinician.

How do I remove my data?

Because most records are local, deleting the app or clearing its storage removes those records. Our Data Deletion page explains platform-specific steps and how to request deletion of information you intentionally sent.

What should I include in a bug report?

Tell us your device model, operating-system version, Cyster version, the screen involved, what you expected, and what happened. Avoid sending health records or private photos unless they are essential and we ask for them.
