What can be deleted
Cyster currently does not use cloud user accounts. Your profile, cycle dates, wellbeing logs, journal entries, medication schedule, app preferences, and chat history are primarily stored in the app’s local database on your device.
Information you intentionally transmitted—such as written feedback, support email, AI chat requests, or meal-photo analysis—may have been processed by Cyster and its providers as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Delete device-local data
On iPhone or iPad
Delete the Cyster app from the device. Offloading the app may retain its documents and data, so choose “Delete App” when you want local records removed.
On Android
Open system Settings, select Apps, choose Cyster, then Storage and “Clear storage” or “Clear data.” Uninstalling the app also removes its local app data.
Menu names can vary by device and operating-system version. Deletion is permanent unless a platform backup later restores app data.
Disconnect health access
Deleting Cyster does not automatically delete records already stored by Apple Health or Health Connect. Use the privacy or connected-app controls in Apple Health, Health Connect, or your device settings to revoke Cyster’s access and manage records held by that platform.
Revoking permission stops future access but may not remove hydration or exercise records that you previously chose to write. Delete those records through the relevant health platform if desired.
Request deletion from Cyster
To ask us to delete personal information reasonably linked to you, emailcystercare.pcos@gmail.comwith the subject “Cyster data deletion request.”

- the country or region connected to your request.
Do not email passwords, identification documents, meal photos, or detailed medical records unless we specifically request a limited item to verify your request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Backups and limitations
Cyster cannot remotely access or erase information that exists only on your device. We also cannot directly delete platform backups, Apple Health or Health Connect records, app-store purchase records, or information another person received when you chose to share it.
We may retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or documentation of your request. Information may remain temporarily in secure backups until routine deletion or overwrite.
